Abstract

Around the world, people form unions and bargain collectively when they feel they are not being treated fairly. Usually, they have experienced many situations that give rise to this certainty.
Of course, it is the employees who unionize because the bosses abuse them. It is unheard of for bosses to unionize. At the Collège de Saint-Boniface in Manitoba, a management union existed for a few months in 1980. Here is what happened, from start to finish.
